VCE Electric Vehicle Rebates – Stack your Savings!
The race to cleaner energy is on, and our new EV Rebate Program can help you drive cleaner. VCE will give you $4,000 for a fully electric (BEV) or plug-in hybrid vehicle if your income qualifies, or $2,500 for a BEV/$2,000 plug-in hybrid. Application only takes a few minutes!
According to the CA Air Resources Board, a whopping 35% of our state’s emissions come from transportation. That’s a huge slice of air quality degradation, and one we can do something about. Converting to driving clean is easy— it’s lots of fun, and now it’s more affordable than ever for VCE customers.
Let’s start with the good news: EV sales in the country have nearly doubled from 2020 to 2021—from about 308,000 to 608,000. Making it even easier to drive electric are the many rebate and incentive programs offered by federal and state governments.
Here’s some even better news: Valley Clean Energy is now offering an EV Rebate program of our own, which you can add to the other available incentives to help you “stack your savings” on the purchase or lease of a new electric vehicle. You could save $2,000-4,000 more—in addition to the other incentives currently available—depending on your qualifications.
Please note: applicants need to qualify for the CVRP rebate to be eligible for VCE’s rebate. Applicants are not eligible for CVRP rebates if their gross annual incomes are above the following thresholds: $135,000 for single filers, $175,000 for head-of-household filers, or $200,000 for joint filers.
Applying for our rebate is super easy. Here’s how:
- Apply after purchase. (You don’t have to be income-qualified, but lower-income applicants typically qualify for higher rebate amounts.)
- Applicants must also be approved by the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) to qualify.
