Did you know that you can use the power in your EV battery to power your home when needed? For example, a Ford F-150 Lightning that has an 80% starting charge can power an entire home for two days without completely draining the vehicle’s battery.
PG&E’s new Vehicle-to-Everything pilot program provides incentives for residential customers to purchase certain models of EVs and charging stations. These charging stations will enable vehicle-to-home charging.
Incentives Available
- $2,500 upfront ($3,000 for customers in Disadvantaged Communities)
- Up to $2,175 additional for performance
Eligibility
- Residential customers that have a standard split-phase 240v electrical service and one of the eligible vehicles/chargers.
- Enrollment in customer group A,5 Vehicle-Grid Integrations of the Emergency Load Reduction Program (ELRP) is required and offers additional incentives.
